District and Board of Ed Express Appreciation, Thank Lawrence Voters for Their Support
Yesterday, the Lawrence Township Public Schools (LTPS) community overwhelmingly voted in favor of the district’s referendum, paving the way for a major expansion and renovation of the 75-year-old Lawrence Middle School. This investment will allow the district to welcome 6th graders into the middle school, modernize learning spaces, and address long-standing facility needs.

In recognition of Black History Month, Lawrence High School’s Arts & Humanities Academy is hosting a celebration entitled, “Overcoming by Faith, Fortitude & Resistant.” The celebration will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 3 – 7PM.
The Lawrence Township Board of Education is set to host two events where community members can learn more about a referendum that would fund long-lasting building improvements at the district's Middle School and High School joint campus.
On January 23, our middle and high school students had the incredible opportunity to attend a special assembly featuring Garry Gilliam Jr., a former NFL offensive tackle who played for the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers. Garry shared his inspiring story of overcoming adversity, from the challenging streets of his childhood to achieving his dream of playing in the NFL. His message of resilience, determination, and self-belief left a lasting impact, empowering our students to strive to be the very best versions of themselves.
