LHS Transition Students/Career Exploration program earn “Innovations in Special Education Award”
Look who’s in the spotlight today! Congrats to Lawrence High School (LHS) teacher Stacey Zegas and special education assistant Andrew Deak and the LHS Transition Students/Career Exploration program for earning an “Innovations in Special Education Award” from the New Jersey School Boards Association (NJSBA). The LHS entry was one of 7 out of 57 submitted programs selected for recognition as an example of a successful, creative effort that enables special needs students to achieve their potential.
