LMS – Congratulations to Dr. Adrienne Wasserleben on becoming the assistant principal of Lawrence Middle School (LMS)! She will begin her new role in August.
Adrienne is a graduate of Lawrence High School (LHS), Class of 2006. She has been a health, physical education, and driver’s education teacher at LHS for 12 years, and the head cheerleading coach since 2011. In addition, Adrienne has been recognized as a Governor’s Teacher of the Year twice.
At LTPS, Adrienne has served as a teacher leader in many capacities. She currently serves as one of our District Climate Coordinators for Rutgers University’s School Climate Transformation Project (SCTP). Adrienne's other experiences in Lawrence include the following: Freshman Academy Leader, training in the Nurtured Heart Approach, Restorative Practices, Sustainable Jersey for Schools LHS Grant Coordinator, District Wellness Committee Member, LHS Character Committee, as well as other duties and committee work.
As a mother of two young children, Adrienne understands a school's role in a child's life. She is committed to working tirelessly to improve the welfare of all students and staff. With her exceptional work ethic and solid educational foundation, LTPS is excited for her to begin this new journey!
Adrienne holds an undergraduate degree from West Chester University, a master’s degree in Educational Leadership: Instruction from The College of New Jersey, a master’s degree in School Administration from Rowan University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership degree from Keiser University.
