LMS Model UN Team Attends 15th Annual Global Classrooms International Model UN Conference

Congratulations to the Lawrence Middle School (LMS) Model UN team for winning 7 Best Position Paper awards at the recent 15th Annual Global Classrooms International Model UN Conference! This year the conference was virtual, but still an impactful learning experience. The LMS team represented the Netherlands in a number of global issues and UN committees, with each student giving opening speeches, participating in formal and informal debates by making motions and more speeches, and then writing and approving resolutions on global issues. Daniel Christel is the LMS Model UN advisor.
