LTPS Named State District of Character

The district Character Education Committee recently submitted our reevaluation application for District of Character recognition. A team of administrators and staff worked together to address each of the 11 principles using our past application, feedback for growth and our present practices in place. We recently received word that we have once again been named a State District of Character! Our application now moves forward to the process of National evaluation. This recognition will be announced in May.

Special thanks to Amy Amiet, Alyson Fischer, Jessica Deak, Victoria Hart, Corinne Rutt, Patricia Burns and Adrienne Wasserleben, all of whom were instrumental in gathering data and artifacts for our application. Learn more here.
