DECA Students Are World Contenders

Congratulations to all of the Lawrence High School (LHS) DECA club members who recently attended the International Career Development Conference in Orlando, Florida. Twenty-two LHS students competed with 21,000 others from across the nation and around the world. The LHS chapter had 6 finalists and 8 top performers in their perspective events:
  • Jenna Cahill, Nicole Seeburger, Hope Perry, and Tucker Simpson all won Top 10 in the World (yes, WORLD!) in Hospitality Team Decision Marketing.
  • Arjun Agarwal and Eric Maest won Top 20 in the World in Buying and Merchandising Operations Research.
  • Lina Chihoub won a medal for Written Test in Quick Service Restaurant Management.
  • Tucker Simpson won a medal for Written Test in Hospitality Team Decision Marketing.
  • Nabile Hachicha won a medal for a Role-Play in Sports Marketing.
