District Named National District of Character...again!

Lawrence Township Public Schools (LTPS) has again (second time!) earned the distinction of being named a National District of Character by, a national advocate and leader in character development in schools and communities. LTPS retains this honor for five years. The virtual awards ceremony is March 5, 2021.

Amy Amiet, Eldridge Park School principal, and Alyson Fischer, Lawrence Intermediate School principal, led the district’s Character Education Committee in the extensive re-application process. Steven Prentiss, technology supervisor, created the video to be used during the national awards ceremony.
