LIS/LMS String Players Perform in CJMEA Honors Orchestra

On Saturday, April 13, twenty-four Lawrence Intermediate and Middle School (LIS and LMS) string players participated in the CJMEA Honors Orchestra Festival held at Lawrence High School (LHS). This is the second year LTPS hosted the CJMEA Honors Orchestra in district. Over 300 string students and 30 string teachers from school districts throughout Central Jersey performed in three orchestras. Melissa Clark (LIS/LMS string teacher) and Bess Anne Ploener (LIS string teacher) nominated the students for the one-day festival. Students received the music ahead of time to practice before the event. Congratulations to all the LIS and LMS string players that participated!
