Nine LHS Students Qualify for NJ State History Day
On March 2, the Lawrence High School (LHS) National History Day Club participated in the regional level of competition for National History Day (NHD), held at Rutgers University, Camden. This year's theme is "Triumph and Tragedy in History."
Out of the 16 LHS students who presented their projects to the judges, 9 students qualified to compete at the NJ State History Day competition on May 4. Congratulations to the state qualifiers!

This is the fourth year that students from Lawrence High School have participated in the event. LHS seniors Anusha Aggarwal and Cassidy Stoneback are co-presidents of the LHS NHD Club. LMS history teacher Priscilla Taylor is the district NHD advisor.
