Dr. Damian Bariexca, Assistant Principal

    Damian Bariexca is proud to have been a New Jersey public school educator since 2000.  Prior to arriving in Lawrence Township, Dr. Bariexca served as an English teacher at Hunterdon Central Regional High School and as a school psychologist at North Hunterdon High School.  Dr. Bariexca joined the staff of Lawrence Intermediate School in 2011 as a school psychologist.  In 2014, Dr. Bariexca became Supervisor of Educational Technology and Related Arts, overseeing fine, performing, and practical arts, libraries, and technology programs across the district.  The 2019-2020 school year marks Dr. Bariexca's 20th year in public education as well as his first as assistant principal at Lawrence High School.
    Dr. Bariexca earned his B.A. in English from The College of New Jersey, his Ed.S. in School Psychology from Rider University, and his Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Wilmington University.
    Outside of Lawrence, Dr. Bariexca teaches future teachers at Delaware Valley University in Doylestown, PA.  He has also worked as a professional development consultant for the New Jersey Education Association.  Originally from Manchester Township, NJ, Dr. Bariexca resides in Perkasie, PA with his wife and children.
