Please join us in welcoming Ms. Makenzie E. Kelly as the newest member of the Lawrence Township Board of Education! A proud Lawrence Township Public Schools alum, Ms. Kelly brings both personal connection and professional expertise to her new role. Currently serving as a Special Projects Director at the New Jersey Department of Education, she leads statewide initiatives that support school improvement and educator development. Previously, she taught at Trenton Central High School, where she developed curriculum, led professional development, and championed student success. Ms. Kelly holds a master’s degree in Secondary Education and is pursuing a School Leadership certificate from the University of Pennsylvania. She will be officially sworn in at the July 9 Board of Education meeting. Welcome home, Ms. Kelly!
