Big Changes. Big Upgrades. Big Future for Lawrence Schools. 

Last spring, the Lawrence community said YES to investing in our schools—and now the exciting part begins! 

You’re invited to a community conversation about the renovations and expansions coming to Lawrence Middle School and Lawrence Intermediate School, and how these projects will support our districtwide grade-level restructuring starting in 2029–30.

What’s happening?

• Grades 3–5 will come together at a transformed Lawrence Intermediate School, designed as a true upper elementary experience.

• Grades 6–8 will unite at an expanded Lawrence Middle School, creating a true middle school model—aligned with NJDOE recommendations.

• A new wing at LMS, major upgrades, and renovations already underway (yes, including the LMS auditorium 👀).

🏗️ Hear it straight from the experts!
Representatives from Higley (construction) and HVFD (architects) will share what’s already happening, what’s coming next, and how these improvements will benefit students, families, and the entire Lawrence community.

We’ll also cover:

• Improved traffic flow and parking

• Enhanced accessibility for students with special needs

• What families can expect as children move through the district
