Welcome To Second Grade!

Second grade is going to be a lot of fun! It is a very busy year and you will learn so many exciting things. You’ll learn how to spell new words and use them in your own story writing. You will also do a lot of reading and explore diiferent kinds of books. In math, you will learn all about addition and subtraction, how to count money, how to tell time, and so much more. I know you will love science. We study matter and energy, the Earth and space, and you will have the chance to design and build projects! In social studies, we will learn about maps and globes, the meaning of citizenship, and the history of Lawrenceville!  It's going to be a great year!
