Mrs. Orit Goldstein

My name is Orit Goldstein and I am your child’s Speech- Language Specialist. I am very excited to share that so far we have had a great year in speech. The students continue to work hard and make great progress!

Using creative lessons that focus on my student's interests, has helped motivate and inspire learning. The students have been working hard to earn points in our Speech Reward System and can't wait to earn the top prizes of a stuffed Pikachu with a Trainer Hat or a full Pokemon trading cards game!!

To earn points in Speech you have to pay attention, follow directions, participate, work hard, and do your work happily and proudly. You also need to be respectful, kind, caring, and sensitive to your teacher and peers. If the student meets all expectations, he can earn 2 points for each speech session. The Pikachu prize is worth 80 points and the Pokemon trading cards game is worth 76 points. The students has been working hard all year to earn it!!

It taught them to work hard over an extended period of time in order to reach their goal and reinforced the concept of delayed gratification. I can't wait for you to see your child's proud smile as he or she comes home with the top prize!
