Cafeteria Account Refunds

  •                 Due to the pandemic, many families have positive balances on their students’ meal accounts.  If you would like us to refund your lunch account balance, please email your request to me at MDilorenzo@ltps.org.  Please be sure to include the student(s) name, the payee and current address of recipient.  If your child has graduated, please include year of Commencement. We will send you a refund check; you may, of course, allow your balance to remain for use in future years.

    You can also request a transfer of funds from one student to another.  For instance, if your child has graduated or is a senior and has “out to lunch” privileges, we can transfer money to a sibling in a lower grade.  If you would like to transfer funds to another student, then include the name of student who is receiving the transferred funds, and the name of the student who’s account we are debiting.

    You can check your balance by going to the LTPS website.  There is a link on the Dining Services webpage, or you can access it directly here: https://www.myschoolbucks.com/

    Please do not call the office with requests for refunds or transfers.  Any/all monetary requests must be made in writing.  If you know your student(s) ID number, that is always helpful but not necessary.  Feel free to call the office with any other questions or concerns.

    Just a reminder, if you haven’t done so, please be sure to fill out lunch applications.  Although all students are receiving free meals this year, many other benefits are determined by your child’s lunch status.  Applications can be found on the LTPS website, or they can be obtained from your main office or the Board office.

  • National School Lunch Seamless Summer Option (SSO)

    The Lawrence Township Board of Education will be participating in the National School Lunch Program's Seamless Summer Option (SSO) to provide free meals (Breakfast and Lunch) for all students during the 2021-2022 academic school year.

     

    Even though the district is providing free meals to all students throughout the 2021-2022 academic school year, the Application for Free and Reduced-Price School Meals is still available and is used to determine eligibility for P-EBT benefits, state funding, and funding for various academic programs. 

     

    We encourage you to complete an application to see if you qualify for additional benefits. Please log into the Genesis Parent Portal at https://parents.ltps.org/ to see if you qualify.  Paper applications can also be obtained from your child's school's main office or at the Board of Education.     If you would like to obtain a refund or a transfer from MySchoolBucks.com please send an email containing the student's name(s), the name of the payee and a current address.  The office cannot take telephone requests for refunds or transfers.  For that and any other Dining Service questions, please contact Dining Supervisor Marybeth DiLorenzo at 609-468-4778 or email mdilorenzo@ltps.org.

    Throughout our district, both hot and cold meals will be served in closed containers and will not be opened until students are seated at socially distanced locations.  Milk and fruit choice are included with all lunch meals.  Grains and fruit choice along with milk are included with breakfasts. 8 oz bottled water will be available with lunch.

    High School & Middle School:

    At both campuses, breakfast and lunches will be offered.  All lunches are served with fruit and vegetable choices and a milk selection. The meal choices at these grade levels will be as follows:

    Hot Meal of the Day (as listed on the menu)

    Pizza & Vegatable Meal

    Pre-made Sandwich and a vegatable

    Chicken Caesar or Vegetarian Chik'n Caesar Salad

     

    Elementary and Intermediate Schools:

    At all K-6 schools, breakfast and lunch will be offered.  All lunches are served with a vegetable selection.  Fruit and milk are available to choose.  The meal choices at these grade levels will be as follows:

    Hot Meal of the Day (as listed on the menu)

    Chicken Nugget & Roll main entree swap out.  Meal comes with all of the other components as listed on the menu.

    Cereal Meal which consists of reduced sugar cereal bowl, bag of Heartzel Pretzels, 2 string cheese sticks, baby carrots and choice of fruit.

    Bagel-Yogurt Meal which consists of a 2 oz. whole grain bagel, a 4 oz reduced sugar yogurt cup, a string cheese stick, a bag of baby carrots and a choice of fruit.
