As Klim transitioned to the educational system, she worked as a member of the Child Study Team at all levels, including out-of-district students. With a trauma informed lens, Klim ensures student voice and agency in all of her work. She has a keen awareness of the curricular demands on today's educators, and strives to support classrooms to ensure access and equity for all learners. Klim's administrative career began as a Supervisor of Child Study Teams and Related Services in Pemberton Township, NJ. She then transitioned to the Director of Pupil Personnel Services in Shamong, NJ. Prior to transitioning to LTPS as the Assistant Superintendent, she served the Freehold Township School District as the Director of Educational Services.

Klim is a founding member of the Monmouth County Schools Partnership for Wellness (MCSPW). She has served in many leadership positions at the county and state level during her tenure as a Director and Assistant Superintendent.
