At the October 9, 2024 LTPS Board of Education meeting, the Board approved Mr. Mike Dzwonar to join LTPS on November 4, 2024 as Interim Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction. Mr. Dzwonar is an accomplished educational leader specializing in curriculum development, instructional improvement, and community engagement within K-12 school districts. With a focus on enhancing teaching practices and fostering inclusive learning environments, Mike has played a pivotal role in driving academic success through strategic oversight of curriculum and instructional initiatives.
In his leadership roles, Mike has collaborated closely with educators, administrators, and community stakeholders to ensure that curriculum aligns with both state standards and the diverse needs of the student population. He is recognized for his ability to implement innovative instructional strategies, support professional development for teachers, and integrate technology to enhance student learning outcomes.

Starting November 4 as the Interim Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, Mike is committed to making the most of his time in Lawrence Township Public Schools. He will actively participate in the vetting and hiring process for the permanent Assistant Superintendent, working to ensure a smooth and effective transition. His goal is to set the next leader up for success with the necessary tools, resources, and insights to hit the ground running. Mike's thoughtful approach will position the department for continued growth and achievement well into the future.
