I'm having trouble logging on. Do you have some suggestions?
Posted by:Please check the following options first:
- E-mails were sent from Genesis on August 28 or 29. This e-mail contained the e-mail associated with your child’s account and the automatically generated password which is unique to your child. If you didn’t receive this e-mail, it may be due to one of the reasons listed below:
- The e-mail from Genesis went to your junk mail
- Our records contain an e-mail address that is no longer in use
- Our records do not contain an e-mail address for the parent(s)/guardian(s)
-
Can other people see my child’s grades and information?
Posted by:As long as you protect your password, others will not be able to see your child’s information. Each child/parent is issued a unique password.
-
May I view my child's grades online at any time or is it limited to just certain times of day?
Posted by:Genesis parent access is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the school year.
-
May the non-custodial parent see the child's grades?
Posted by:Yes, the ability to create a single sign on account is available to any parent/guardian of each student.
-
What is the proper procedure to follow if I have questions regarding my child's grades in a class?
Posted by:It is best that you contact your child's teacher directly, either by email or voicemail. This will result in the quickest resolution to your question.
-
I replied to the Genesis auto-email with a question, but have not received a response. Why?
Posted by:The Genesis auto-generated email is created and sent by the Genesis server, not by an individual. The server will not reply to your email sent to that address. If you have questions about your child's progress, please direct those questions directly to the faculty member.

When will elementary school parents be able to view students' grades and attendance?

Parents of students in grades K-5 will be able to view the report cards at the conclusion of each marking period. Report cards will be posted within ten days of the end of each marking period.
