Many of us have a memory of that one staff member who made a positive impact on us that we'll never forget. This week we celebrate our staff during "American Education Week." Always observed during the first full week before Thanksgiving, American Education Week began in 1921 with the goal to generate public awareness and support for education because of concerns over illiteracy. During this school year, we will continue to share your stories with our staff to acknowledge and appreciate the value and lasting impact they have on our students and families and to remind them that it really can "start with one." Please have your student fill out this form, or fill it out with them. It does not matter if the staff member is still employed or retired many years ago; it is the story that matters. You can include your name or stay anonymous if you choose. The staff member will remain anonymous.
Parents and guardians of children in grades K-12 will learn about online safety and digital citizenship including cyberbullying, inappropriate online content, sex trafficking, privacy, and practical tips for keeping your kids safer online.
