Welcome to the Mercer County ETTC
(Educational Technology Training Center)

Building Technology Resources and Online Collaborations in the Content Areas-  During this two-day workshop series, participants will actively explore freeand accessible content and grade level-specific resources; learn how to cultivate successful global online teacher and student collaborations in theircontent area; apply effective search techniques; and build content resourceengines with the goal of turnkey training teachers under their supervision.

Dates Offered: Dec 7 and 8, 2010. 

Times: 8:00-3:00 PM. 

Location: LTPS ETTC @ the Technology Center.

Cost: $50 per two-day session.

2009-10 Academic Year:

The workshop, entitled Building Web Literacy: A Sequel to November and Jukes, provides an opportunity to discover how web-based resources and collaborations support the implementation of the 2009 Core Curriculum Content Standards and can enhance student motivation and achievement.  In this workshop, educators will be actively engaged in:

·        Exploring free and accessible resources for various content areas and grade levels

·         Learning how to cultivate successful global online teacher and student collaborations  

·         Applying effective search techniques 

·         Building resource engines for posting

Software must be purchased separately for follow up usage.
