It is with great excitement that I welcome you to Ben Franklin Elementary School! At Ben Franklin, we realize that every student is capable of learning, growing and succeeding. Our dedicated staff models problem solving, hard work, respect, collaboration and enthusiasm every day. We strive to provide students with opportunities to develop and exercise creativity, challenge themselves academically and think critically; all while working together and having fun.
At Ben Franklin, we prepare students to become successful citizens and contributing members of a global society. We provide a foundation that will set the tone for future learning and exploring.
A primary goal of Ben Franklin Elementary School is to meet the academic needs of ALL of our unique students. We recognize that students come to us with various talents, interests, life experience, and academic needs. We pledge to do all that we possibly can to learn about each student as an individual and to provide quality, relevant learning experiences that will help every child meet his or her potential, both academically and socially.
While a dedicated and enthusiastic school staff is a key element to student success, it is not enough. An effective school/home partnership is essential to maximizing the potential of our students. Open communication is an integral part of such a partnership. We look forward to hearing parents’ ideas, feedback and concerns regarding their child/children. Nobody knows a child better than his/her family, and we feel very strongly about allowing families the opportunity to ask questions and to share their experiences and expertise with our school.
